I refer the minister to comments made by his colleague, Senator Doug Cameron: Any processing offshore has to be consistent with our international obligations and I just find it pretty rough to be changing the law to try and deliver on a policy that obviously has the judges' concern. Given these concerns, has the government sought any additional protection for asylum seekers to be transferred to Malaysia and, if so, what are they?
