I refer the Prime Minister to the assumption in the carbon tax modelling that the United States will be part of a coordinated international carbon trading scheme by 2016. Can the Prime Minister advise this House of any statements by leading members of the US congress, whether Republican or Democrat, US cabinet minister or White House official, that support this assumption?
