As I understand it, the Department of Social Services has previously written to the Tasmanian Association of State Superannuants, making clear that the Tasmanian Retirement Benefits Fund contributing scheme is a type of defined benefit scheme that is intended to be covered by this measure. This is confirmed by the fund's product disclosure statement.
