Senator FIERRAVANTI-WELLS (New South Wales—Minister for International Development and the Pacific) (14:41): Thank you, Senator Hinch. On 15 February, the Senate referred to the Community Affairs References Committee an inquiry regarding the number of women in Australia who have had transvaginal mesh implants and related matters. Very good evidence, I understand, has been taken by that committee. It's a committee that I know very well, and it's worked, no doubt, very, very hard on this inquiry. I understand that a report is expected to be delivered on 14 February 2018. Twenty mesh devices are included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods under eight entries, as at 28 November 2017. On 28 November, I understand the TGA took regulatory action to cancel some entries and to apply conditions of inclusion on other entries. This will be effective, I'm instructed, on 4 January 2018. (Time expired) The PRESIDENT: Senator Hinch, do you have a final supplementary question? Senator Hinch: Mr President. for reasons you're well aware of, I forfeit my second supplementary question.
