Senator Conroy: The Minister for Foreign Affairs has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question: Since 24 November 2007, over $6 million has been spent on training eye health professionals, including ophthalmologists and ophthalmic nurses, to support local surgical capacity in the Asia-Pacific region.
