Minister, how do you reconcile the Treasurer's statement made last October—that the ambitious goals of eliminating extreme poverty will be meaningless unless strategy is actively pursued to achieve those goals—with the Treasurer's statement of yesterday that, 'We just have to reduce the expenditure as part of our budget savings.' Are you committed to reducing aid spending or to poverty alleviation?
