Senator CHRIS EVANS (Western Australia—Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research and Leader of the Government in the Senate) (01:14): Senator, I think this is bringing it in line with the Northern Territory penalties and we think it reflects the appropriate level of penalty for these offences. I think it is really important to try to support the communities in dealing with these serious challenges to them and, as I say, the violence and dysfunction that comes from this serious alcohol misuse. If I can get further information for the senator, I am happy to take that on notice.
