Dr WEBSTER (Mallee) (15:01): My question is to the Prime Minister. For more than 20 years, Ian Mortlock has operated a tomato-growing business in my electorate. Under this government, Ian's company endured a 400 per cent rise in gas prices for his last contract. He has been quoted a new price, but, despite the government's much-hyped gap price caps, it's still so high it will damage his business. The Prime Minister promised Australians like Ian that he would cut their power bills by $275. Why has the Prime Minister misled the Australian people? Isn't this yet another broken promise by this tricky Prime Minister? The SPEAKER: I would just remind the member she was well out of time with that question. There was a question at the end. Order. For the purpose of clarity, I'm going to ask the member to state the question. Dr WEBSTER: Why has the Prime Minister misled the Australian people? Isn't this yet another broken promise by this tricky Prime Minister? The SPEAKER: That's a very broad question. I give the call to the Prime Minister.
