Senator PATRICK (South Australia) (15:13): A Senate select committee can be obstructed by comity principles that mean that it can't call the Minister for Health, the Attorney-General in his capacity as industrial relations minister or the Treasurer. Will the government commit to requiring these ministers to appear before the select committee should such a request be made?
