Senator Abetz asked the Minister representing the Special Minister of State, upon notice, on 16 January 2012: With reference to the Australian Electoral Commission and the 2007 federal election: (1) How many cases of multiple voting were detected for the seat of McEwen, and of that number how many: (a) cases were due to administrative error; and (b) people were spoken to in order to determine this figure. (2) How many people admitted to multiple voting, and what action, if any, was taken against them.
