Senator Johnston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 16 January 2012: With reference to each review currently being conducted, or recently conducted, by the department, can a list be provided detailing the: (a) name of the review; (b) individuals, groups and companies conducting the review; (c) individuals, groups and companies being paid; (d) terms of reference; (e) timeline; (f) cost per stage; (g) anticipated final cost; (h) scheduled reporting date, including any preliminary stages and the final report; (i) reasons why the work was not conducted by senior executive service members of the department; and (j) departmental officer who commissioned the review.
