Mr TURNBULL (Wentworth—Prime Minister) (14:55): The honourable member knows very well that the government and every member of the government and our party have absolutely zero tolerance for racism. I want to say this— Mr Hill interjecting— The SPEAKER: The member for Bruce is warned. Mr TURNBULL: We in this nation enjoy extraordinary freedoms. Yesterday we were at the Australian War Memorial at the Last Post ceremony, recalling that that place of quiet contemplation and remembrance, which we can see across the lake, remembers and honours the sacrifice—the supreme sacrifice—of over 102,000 Australians who fought to defend our Australian values. And I want to remind the honourable member that in this parliament on both sides there are men and women who have served Australia in our uniform, putting their lives on the line to defend those values. They haven't just defended them; they've fought for them.
