Senator McKIM (Tasmania—Australian Greens Whip) (14:26): Saying you're doing better than the previous government is clearing an extremely low bar. Minister, in the face a cost-of-living crisis pushing Australians to the brink, why are you failing to tackle rampant profiteering and price gouging by corporations? Will you work with the Greens to make price gouging illegal or introduce a corporate superprofits tax to rein in profiteering and put downward pressure on inflation? If not, why not?
