Mr HUNT (Flinders) (14:30): My question is to the Prime Minister. I remind the Prime Minister that three years ago today she promised to establish a community consensus before any carbon price and later announced a citizens assembly for that purpose. Why did she break that promise and instead introduce a carbon tax that has forced up prices, cost jobs and disadvantaged manufacturing, all while emissions have gone up from 560 million to 637 million tonnes?
