Senator WHISH-WILSON (Tasmania) (14:21): Does the minister accept that, if a company makes a rational decision to buy back its shares or return money to shareholders, it's a decision that they have nothing better to do with the funds? So why do you persist with this myth that they are going to reinvest that money back into the economy and into workers, which will lead to wage rises?
