Senator Ludwig: The Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question: The Minister is not in a position to comment on reported remarks by the former Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Jobs and Workplace Relations without the benefit of the context in which the reported remarks were made. The Minister does note, however, that the 28-day rule was canvassed in a number of submissions to the Fair Work Review.
