Can the minister advise what impact the government's decision to release into the community single male detainees who have not been found to be refugees will have on the capacity of state government and not-for-profit agencies to meet emergency accommodation needs in the community? What effect will the decision have on the applications of 200,000 Australians already on the public housing waiting list, up from 174,000 last year?
