Senator Humphries asked the Minister representing the Attorney-General, upon notice, on 16 September 2011: In regard to applications for 'betterment' of public assets under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA): (1) How many applications have been received by the Government (2) How many applications have been: (a) approved, and (b) rejected and, in each case, can details of the applications be provided, including the Commonwealth and State financial contributions
