Ms LEY (Farrer—Deputy Leader of the Opposition) (14:17): My question is to the Prime Minister and concerns the Attorney-General's aggressive verbal attack on a young female journalist yesterday. This occurred in a media conference— Government members interjecting— The SPEAKER: Members on my right will cease interjecting. There'll be no interjections during questions being asked. Out of courtesy, the deputy leader will be invited to begin her question again. Ms LEY: My question is to the Prime Minister and concerns the Attorney-General's aggressive verbal attack on a young female journalist yesterday. This occurred in a media conference regarding the government's botched and mishandled actions in releasing almost 150 hardcore criminals into the community. A young female journalist asked if a woman who had been assaulted by one of those released deserved an apology. Not only did the Attorney-General refuse to apologise; he aggressively shouted at the young female journalist. Has the Prime Minister forced the Attorney-General to apologise?
