Ms CATHERINE KING (Ballarat) (14:24): My question is again to the Prime Minister. On Monday, Brittany Higgins stood at the front of this parliament and said: I watched as the Prime Minister of Australia publicly apologised to me through the media, while privately his media team actively undermined and discredited my loved ones. How can the Prime Minister hear a serious allegation from Brittany Higgins about appalling actions by his own staff and refuse to even check if it is true?
