Ms PLIBERSEK (Sydney—Deputy Leader of the Opposition) (14:54): My question is to the Prime Minister. Is the Prime Minister aware of a report about the no-confidence motion in the Minister for Home Affairs that says: 9NEWS has confirmed Liberal MP Julia Banks was overheard telling colleagues 'supporting that man is not what I want to be doing'. How can the Prime Minister continue to protect the minister when even his own colleagues have lost confidence in him? Is this why the Prime Minister describes his own government as a muppet show? The SPEAKER: The Leader of the House on a point of order? Mr Pyne: We have quite a large licence in this place in question time, but asking the Prime Minister about rumours is not in order. The SPEAKER: The Leader of the House can resume his seat The question is clearly out of order.
