Mr BOWEN (McMahon) (14:31): My question is to the Prime Minister. When the Prime Minister deposed the former Prime Minister, he said: We need to respect the intelligence of the Australian people. Is the Prime Minister doing the opposite of respecting the intelligence of the Australian people by hoping that they do not notice that he will not rule out retrospective changes to negative gearing? Will the Prime Minister now finally rule out making retrospective changes to negative gearing?
