On 29 March 2012 the minister texted his email address to James Ashby so that he could be sent a better quality copy of the Speaker's diary. Ashby replied, and I quote: 'Done. Coming through in minutes.' Did the minister receive those unauthorised copies of the Speaker's diary? Is conduct of this nature consistent with the standards the government applies to this minister's portfolio?
