(2) That the Whistleblower Protection Authority Bill 2025 be restored to the Notice Paper and consideration of the bill resume at the second reading stage. (3) That the bill be referred to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 29 August 2025, and that the committee have the power to consider and use the records of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee appointed in the previous parliament.
