Senator CANAVAN (Queensland) (15:04): Minister, if the Albanese Labor government is so certain that your car tax will not lead to higher car prices and drive up the cost of living for Australians, why is the government preventing the Senate from seeing the government's calculations and hiding behind a public interest immunity claim? Why won't you honour the Prime Minister's promise of greater transparency and release the modelling?
