Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Manager of Opposition Business in the Senate) (14:00): My question is to the Minister for Aged Care and Senior Australians, Senator Colbeck. Every three months the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission reports on their compliance checks of the aged-care sector. Can the minister confirm that, for July to September 2019, standards were not met in 37.3 per cent of site visits and 100 per cent of review audits? When did the minister become aware of these alarming results and what immediate action did he take in response to these warnings?
