Senator McALLISTER (New South Wales—Deputy Opposition Whip in the Senate) (14:14): Given that the Prime Minister thinks that low- and middle-income earners just haven't bothered to get a better job, is it any wonder that his arrogant and out-of-touch government is holding tax cuts for low- and middle-income earners this year hostage to tax cuts for the top 20 per cent of earners in six years time?
