Senator WATT (Queensland) (14:43): When will this minister stop misleading the Senate and hiding the truth, and come clean on her involvement in the leaking of AFP operational material? Opposition senators interjecting— The PRESIDENT: Order on my left! Senator O'Sullivan, on a point of order? Senator O'Sullivan: Mr President, that's a serious aspersion to cast on a member of this Senate—that they're misleading the Senate. There is absolutely no evidence to that effect, and it should be withdrawn. The PRESIDENT: Senator Wong, on the point of order? Senator Wong: I think it is beyond dispute that the minister misled the Senate in Senate estimates on, I think, seven occasions, which she then had to correct. That is beyond dispute—I don't think even the minister disputes it. She disputes whether or not she knew it. The PRESIDENT: On the point of order, I don't find the language unparliamentary in nature. The minister has an opportunity to respond to the question as put by Senator Watt.
