Senator Di Natale asked the Minister representing the Minister for Health, upon notice, on 17 December 2012: For the 2009‑10 and 2010‑11 financial years, detailed separately, what was the total Medicare Benefits amount paid at in‑hospital and out‑of‑hospital rates, and the amount paid in total, for pathology and diagnostic imaging services to: (a) the ten private providers who receive the most revenue for each of the broad types of service, including totals for each provider; (b) public hospital providers, as a total figure; and (c) all other providers, as a total figure.
