Senator Bob Carr: The Minister for Defence has provided the following answer to the Honourable Senator's question: (1) to (5) The Department holds various licences, such as, software licences, licences to run bars in messes and licences to operate a cafeteria on a base. Registrations and permits are generally issued by State or Territory bodies. Due to the broad nature of the question, Defence is unable to provide a response in relation to this question. To develop a response would require an unreasonable amount of departmental resources.
