Senator Johnston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 20 August 2012: (1) For the period 1 January to 30 June 2012 how many: (a) uniformed staff; and (b) civilian staff, resigned from each of the services (i.e Army, Navy and Air Force)? (2) For the period 1 January to 30 June 2012 how many: (a) uniformed staff; and (b) civilian staff, were made redundant or accepted severance packages in each of the service areas?
