Senator Ronaldson asked the Minister representing the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs upon notice on 27 June 2012. With reference to the letter dated 8 June 2012 from the Repatriation Commission to the Vietnam veterans who participated in the Vietnam Veterans’ Family Study: (1) How much will the study cost to complete. (2) How much has been spent on the study to date. (3) Prior to 30 June 2012, how many departmental staff have been involved in preparing the study’s findings. (4) How many staff will be working in this area after 1 July 2012. (5) What ‘resource constraints’ are in place to prevent the completion of the study by the end of 2012, as promised in December 2011.
