Senator Siewert asked the Minister representing the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, upon notice, on 22 March 2012: With reference to the wrecking of the MV Tycoon at Christmas Island, can the Minister confirm whether phosphate bags are still covering the reef around the wreck site; if so: (a) why have the bags not been removed; and (b) is their impact being monitored.
