Senator Johnston asked the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 5 March 2012: (1) For the period 1 January to 31 December 2011, how many: (a) uniformed staff; and (b) civilian staff, resigned from each of the service areas (i.e. army, navy and air force). (2) For the period 1 January to 31 December 2011, how many: (a) uniformed staff; and (b) civilian staff, were made redundant or accepted severance packages in each of the service areas.
