Senator Conroy: The Minister for Foreign Affairs has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question: Since 2005 one (1) debtor has been refused a passport after a competent authority made a request under subsection 16(1) of the Australian Passports Act 2005 (the Act). This was in 2011.
