In 2018, the now minister said that the culture in parliament 'feels really toxic' for 'normal people generally, but in particular for women' and 'So there's a level of aggression, of conflict, of egocentrism that dominates the culture in Parliament House, and I think it's quite hard to handle.' How is this consistent with the minister's verbal abuse of her secretary causing her to leave her office in tears?
