Dr WEBSTER (Mallee) (15:06): My question is to the Prime Minister. Brendan Reinheimer and his wife are raising three children in Haven, in my electorate. They reached out to me recently in desperation, having learned that their new electricity charges will cost them an additional $970 over the next 12 months. Will this tricky Prime Minister now admit that Labor's pre-election promise to cut household energy bills by $275 will never be met? The SPEAKER: I'm going to ask the member to withdraw that part of the question. Dr WEBSTER: I withdraw. The SPEAKER: I thank the member for withdrawing that. Mr Rick Wilson: It's a simple question; you told them they were going to get a $275 rebate. The SPEAKER: Order! The member for O'Connor is warned.
