Mr MORRISON (Cook—Prime Minister and Minister for the Public Service) (14:49): As I've already indicated to the House, I'm awaiting that report and I will report further once I receive it. The Leader of the Opposition may not be aware, but the Australian Federal Police have advised the department secretary that, in relation to any of these matters, any report here and the handling of any report must not prejudice any ongoing investigation into the matter itself. That is just the case, so I'm not going to do anything— Honourable members interjecting— The SPEAKER: The Prime Minister will pause for a second. Member for Eden-Monaro and others, I don't know why members would ask questions and then prevent me from hearing the answers. The Prime Minister has the call. Mr MORRISON: Subject to these— The SPEAKER: The Prime Minister will pause. The member for Macnamara will leave under standing order 94(a). I couldn't have been more clear. The member for Macnamara then left the chamber. Mr MORRISON: Subject to these rule-of-law issues that obviously the secretary would advise me at the time and any other such important issues that would have to be considered, I said that, once I've received the report, I would be happy to report further. I've made that very plain.
