Mr BUTLER (Port Adelaide) (14:31): My question is to the Minister for the Environment. Yesterday, during question time, the minister categorically denied telling the former President of Kiribati: 'I know why you're here. It's for the cash. For the Pacific it's always about the cash. I have my chequebook here. How much do you want?' But multiple sources have since confirmed that is exactly what the minister said. Given it's been 24 hours since the minister misled this House, will the minister now comply with the ministerial standards and correct the record?
