Senator WALSH (Victoria) (14:06): My question is to the Minister representing the Minister for Home Affairs, Senator Watt. I refer to the recent High Court rulings which determined that successive Liberal and National party immigration and citizenship laws were unconstitutional. Given that the High Court struck down Mr Dutton's failed immigration and citizenship laws, what has the Albanese government done to keep the community safe since those decisions? Opposition senators interjecting— The PRESIDENT: Order! Thank you, Senator Walsh. Just a moment, Minister. Order on my left!
