Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Manager of Opposition Business in the Senate) (14:46): The Morrison government has appointed a junior assistant minister to respond to the Respect@work report after it sat on Mr Porter's desk for over a year, has prohibited the Attorney-General from engaging with the Federal Court and has prohibited the Attorney-General from engaging with the ABC. Why is it that Mr Morrison is willing to go to this extent to facilitate the Attorney-General's return to cabinet when he's not willing to even read the complaint or seek legal advice?
