While youth unemployment is at 11.7 per cent—more than double the national average—the government's flagship youth employment program, PaTH, is failing. Having set itself the target of 30,000 internship placements per year, can the minister confirm that only 8,234 young people have commenced internships between April 2017 and January 2019?
