Senator NASH (New South Wales—Deputy Leader of The Nationals, Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Local Government and Territories and Minister for Regional Communications) (14:15): I can tell the senator what's important to the Australian people. What's important to the Australian people is making sure, as I've said, that we have affordable and reliable energy. There is probably nothing more important to the Australian people at the moment than knowing that they're going to be able to afford their electricity prices. I'll tell you what else is important to the Australian people—making sure that we've got a strong and sustainable regional economy. Regional Australia drives this nation and drives the economy, and, unlike those opposite, it's the coalition that is going to put the policies in place to make sure that we do that. This government is absolutely focused on what's important to the Australian people. Senator Jacinta Collins: Oh dear—keep going forever! That's all we hear from you! Senator NASH: I'll take that interjection from the other side from Senator Collins. She's going, 'Oh dear.' That's about the only contribution she's got for regional Australia. That's all she can come up with—'Oh dear.' It's the coalition that's going to deliver for this nation, and we'll continue to do so.
