Senator Abetz asked the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, upon notice, on 14 September 2012: With reference to the Dateline report 'The Last Frontier' broadcast on 21 August 2012, and the response of the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Ombudsman to a formal complaint: (1) What were the specific findings of the SBS Ombudsman. (2) How were these specific findings acted upon by SBS. (3) Were viewers informed that 'the totality of the report was inaccurate and misleading', as noted in the SBS Ombudsman's response; if not, why not.
