Senator Abetz asked the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, upon notice, on 2 August 2012: With reference to question no. 194 taken on notice during the Budget estimates hearings of the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee in May 2012 and the statement from the Minister that the reason for taking the question on notice was that ‘I just do not have it off the top of my head’, and given that the question did not deal with the deliberations of Cabinet: in relation to the Finkelstein inquiry, how many names were considered for appointment.
