Senator Birmingham asked the Minister representing the Prime Minister, upon notice, on 15 August 2012: Since 24 June 2010, has the Prime Minister’s office engaged any individuals, consultants or other business, to provide any form of speechwriting assistance and/or communication advice; if so: (1) For each month from June 2010 to August 2012, can details be provided of: (a) the cost; (b) the names of each individual, consultant or business engaged; and (c) the amounts paid on each occasion. (2) Can details be provided of the particular speeches, communications or other projects for which such engagements were made. (3) On what basis were these individuals, consultants or businesses: (a) selected; and (b) engaged.
