Senator BOB BROWN (Tasmania—Leader of the Australian Greens) (16:24): I move: That the Senate— (a) notes the recent admission of Palestine as the 195th member of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization [UNESCO]; and (b) calls on the Government to help facilitate, as best it can, the nomination from Palestine for a number of cultural sites, including the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, to be classified as a World Heritage site. The DEPUTY PRESIDENT: The question is that the motion moved by Senator Bob Brown be agreed to.
