Senator Cash asked the Minister representing the Minister for the Status of Women, upon notice, on 12 September 2011: (1) How much has the department spent on consultancy services since 25 August 2010. (2) Can a list be provided of all current consultancy services, and for each consultancy: (a) what was the rationale for the project and its intended use; and (b) why did the department or its agencies not undertake the work themselves.
