Senator Johnston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 5 July 2011: For the period 1 January to 30 June 2011: (a) what specific savings of the expected $4.4 billion over the period 2010 to 2019 have been made in the implementation of Smart Maintenance techniques; and (b) what one-off savings been made.
