Senator Johnston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 5 July 2011: (1) As at 30 June 2011, how many: (a) permanent uniformed staff, both part-time and full-time; and (b) civilian staff, both part-time and full-time, were in each of the three service areas (i.e. army, navy, and air force).
